Description
Reflection Man earned its reputation as one of Amouage’s most-worn masculines by pairing a rosemary-citrus opening with a creamy jasmine-orris heart. Floral Wood by Code Indra keeps that same floral backbone but reworks the base, and it does so in extrait strength — so the florals don’t thin out halfway through the day the way lighter concentrations tend to.
Fragrance Notes
- Top Notes: Neroli, Rosemary, Bitter Orange Leaves — bright, green, citrus-herbal
- Heart Notes: Jasmine, Ylang-Ylang, Orris Root — creamy white florals, powdery
- Base Notes: Cedarwood, Sandalwood, Patchouli, Musk — soft, close-to-skin woods
How It Compares to the Original
Reflection Man opens on rosemary, pink pepper and bitter orange leaves, with neroli arriving later in the heart alongside jasmine, orris and ylang-ylang, before settling into a vetiver-patchouli-sandalwood base. Floral Wood moves neroli up into the opening instead, drops pink pepper altogether, and — the more noticeable change — swaps out the original’s vetiver for musk in the base. The result is a softer, less green finish than Reflection Man’s signature dry, vetiver-forward drydown.
